When I returned to the front of the Orphanage I was intrigued by the path that heads south. I’ll turn those coins into 5 more Nexotraps and continue on. That trade will net us 250 coins for handing over our Rubby. I chose to head back into the cave where I originally caught it to grab another. I had removed mine from the party when I spoke with the girl about the trade. Once I made that trade, I remember seeing another trade to the west of the Orphanage that included a Rubby. Another Trade, Exploring, and Mara Experience It turns out this is a 100% capture trap, so it will work out in the long run. I made the trade, although I wasn’t too happy about it. The Nexomon they’re looking for is the Cruff that we just captured. It was to trade a Nexomon for a Golden Nexotrap. After catching the remaining Nexomon in the area, I moved on to the east and came to a bridge. I found a water-type named Cruff that reminded me of a Pokémon from Gold Version so I put him in my main party. I picked that up and then checked the grass areas for any new Nexomon. There was a stone that could heal us near the trainer we defeated. He’s also the first Nexomon that we have with more than 40 health. He evolves into Calplex and has a lot more stamina than before. After this battle concluded, Calfter reached level 11 and began the evolution process. This trainer has a normal type Nexomon that we’d seen a few times, and also the Nexomon that we have as a companion, Masquiti. We could easily go around, but I’m trying to battle every trainer that we can in order to continue leveling up our Nexomon. There is a trainer waiting in the middle. I should be powerful enough to handle any battles that stand in our way, plus, I can’t wait to continue with the story. Second Trainer BattleĪfter completing that puzzle and being thorough in my exploration around the Orphanage, I feel like it’s time to head east. Although we can’t use them in battle, they just follow us for aesthetic purposes.
Companions are Nexomon that will follow us in real time while we run around the map. This is the first companion that we’ve received so far. We can also pick up a golden chest that has a Masquiti Companion in it. There are a few shards that we can grab in this area, as well as some shiny objects. Salem tells us that it will open a secret treasure vault. Once we complete the puzzle, Salem will give us a Vault Key. It’s important to just keep going with the directions that the girl laid out to us in the beginning. By going east, we will come to a place that looks exactly like where we started. Her jump order was east, north, east, west, then north again. She jumped in a pattern that we’ll need to follow to get out. We just need to follow the steps and we’ll be able to exit the maze and find the “treasure” at the end. I went north and found a strange girl with a mask named Salem. We could head north, or we could go south. To the east of the pickaxe quest giver was two directions. There was an area north and to the east of where we acquired our pickaxe. Since this was pretty much a dead-end, I worked my way back to the Orphanage. It didn’t seem like I should rush off to a completely new continent, so I said no and went back across the bridge that I came from. There was a dead-end area where a man asked if we wanted to venture to a place called Palmaya. This is the fourth and final core I can equip to Mara for now. I found another Synergy Core(I) before heading north. I’m thinking the starters might have to be between 14 and 16 to evolve. Defeating this trainer leveled up Mara to level 10! He didn’t try to evolve yet. Seeing as I have two level 9 Nexomon, and three at level 8, it’s going to be a cinch. Across the bridge was our first trainer battle! This guy had a few electric Nexomon that I haven’t seen yet. To the west of the little healing hut, was a bridge. There wasn’t much else for me to gain in this area, so I went to another. Our exploration to the south that landed us the starter Nexomon, Gekoko, was running dry.
